The oil-water separator in the braking system is assembled between the air compressor and the air treatment unit. Its main function is to remove oil and moisture from the high-pressure gas in the braking pipeline and maintain the gas cleanliness.
Recently, the company has optimized the intake steel tube of the oil-water separator. It has been changed from the original "coiled type" to the "straight-through type". On the premise of ensuring the braking heat dissipation requirements, the braking response speed of the system has been effectively improved. The specific changes are shown in the above figure.
Notes:
- The shapes of the states before and after the upgrade are different, but the assembly dimensions remain the same and they are interchangeable.
